JD Model Management was founded by working models with more than ten years in the industry — people who scouted, travelled, tested, and signed the contracts before they ever managed anyone else's career.

That is not a line on a page. It changes which agencies we trust, which markets we send people to, and what we tell a nineteen-year-old to expect from their first season abroad.

Placement is the core of what we do. We introduce our models to agencies in Asia, Europe and the Americas, negotiate the contract, and stay involved while the model is on the ground. A model of ours never lands in a new city alone.

We keep the board deliberately small. Every model on it is someone we believe in and have the time to work with properly — development, digitals, test shoots, travel, and the day-to-day of a career that often starts before the model turns twenty.

For partner agencies, that means the faces we send are prepared, documented and ready to work.

Diogo founded JD Model Management and still works as a model himself. He has spent over a decade on the other side of the casting — testing, travelling, and signing with agencies across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

That is the perspective the agency runs on: he has been the new face landing in a city alone, and he builds the agency he would have wanted then.
